The invitations are an opener for how your wedding will be. I truly feel like it sets the mood for your big day.
Even before the invites arrive, you have to send the save-the-date cards. There are so many ways to send out a save the date. And, I had an idea stuck in my head that I wouldn’t let it go – I had to find someone that could do it.
Mike and I had our engagement pictures taken early so that we could use one for our save-the -date cards. We wanted one of our engagement photos to be the main picture, and have it like a photo film strip – with pictures of the places that we will go throughout our wedding day – underneath. It would start with the church, followed by the limo, then our hands toasting, the reception location, and finally the hotel that our guests will be staying in.
The problem was invitation places didn’t do that design, or they couldn’t do it because our pictures were different sizes and formats.
But, we did find someone that would do, and I know she had to work extremely hard to get it all to work.
They came out great – exactly like I wanted them! The place is
Strawberri Graphix in Ridgewood.
Owner and graphic artist Sherri will grant your every wish!
We are also using her for the invitations. My mother and I were at Strawberri Graphix for more than three hours picking our invitation, and Sherri didn’t rush us once, or try to push us out. She was calm and helpful, and really made it enjoyable. She offered good ideas, and tried to help come up with the perfect invitation for us.
My invitation is going to be beautiful. Sherri made a personal design for me, and they are going to be perfect!
Thanks Sherri!
