The Piazza Cavour serves as the center of daily life for the residents of Rimini. There are plenty of quaint shops and cafes to enjoy in the center of town.

5. Cuisine If you think you have had good Italian food in the states, you haven’t tasted anything quite like real Italian food. From the abundance of fresh fish, piadina and pasta, you will be seafood heaven. Just be patient, as Italians like to take their time, relax, and enjoy three-hour meals, plus out-of-this-world wine.

6. Shopping Shopping in Rimini is so much fun. While the beach caters to all the high-end stores and shops, the center of town houses all the cute boutiques (the ones you can’t find anywhere else.) Spend the day shopping in the Piazza Cavour, as I am sure you will find plenty of adorable shoes and bags to take home with you.

Marina It has been said that Marina di Rimini is considered by the experts as, “one of the most beautiful and avant-garde tourist harbors in the entire Mediterranean.” With 622 moorings and a mirror of water of more than 100,000 square miles. Marina di Rimini is the “new jewel of the Adriatic, attended by the sail lovers,” states tripsailor.com.

8. Festivals Rimini hosts the International Pianoforte Festival from March through May. The festival features concerts by top pianists and brings international artists for entertainment such as music, art, theater and dance.

9. Markets Each and every Wednesday, rain or shine, various vendors gather at the town center to cater to shoppers. Fresh produce, music, kitchen knick knacks, home decorations, accessories and more is available for purchase. Be ready to make some deals as the vendors compromise on each price and are willing to drop dollars.
